Our Vision

When Healthcare Fails a Community, We Become the Solution

Our vision comes to life at the Peoples Health and Wellness Center — a comprehensive space designed to deliver integrated care, holistic therapies, and development programs that help our community live longer, healthier lives.

We believe that health is not just the absence of disease. It is the presence of opportunity — access to care, stable housing, meaningful work, and genuine community connection. That is why we build more than programs. We build the places where transformation happens.

About Us

OUR STORY

For over eight years, Peoples Foundation has been a pillar of support in Norfolk's underserved communities. We've provided food assistance, educational programs, and community resources to thousands of families facing hardship.

But we recognized a deeper truth: the community health gap could not be closed without addressing the spaces where people live, heal, and connect. Real estate development became our answer — building the physical infrastructure for health transformation.

The Peoples Health & Wellness Center was born from this belief. It is not just a building — it is a comprehensive response to decades of fragmented care, an investment in the places where real change happens.
