The Peoples Health and Wellness Center is more than a building: it is a community investment. Developed by Peoples Foundation, the center brings together conventional medicine, holistic therapies, and wellness programming under one roof, making comprehensive care accessible to those who need it most.
This is what we mean when we say we develop health: we build the spaces where it happens. Every floor, every program, and every service is designed around the Blue Zones principles of longevity: move naturally, eat wisely, connect with others, and find purpose.

Integrated care management for hypertension, diabetes, musculoskeletal pain, and depression.
Housing-Insecure Individuals
45 affordable senior apartments providing stable housing as the foundation for health.

Spiritual Growth Sanctuary
Community garden, meditation spaces, and outdoor wellness areas where residents and community members can connect with nature, grow fresh produce, and find peace.

Comprehensive mental health services including counseling, therapy, and substance use support in a welcoming, stigma-free environment.
Cognitive Health
State-of-the-art fitness center with adaptive equipment, physical therapy services, and group exercise studios for all ability levels.
Physical Wellness
Full-service dental clinic providing preventive care, restorative treatments, and oral health education to address the critical link between oral and overall health.
Health Care Providers
Medical clinic with care coordination, chronic disease management, and the Sentara Community Care partnership bringing comprehensive healthcare to the community.
